Indie Studio Mjolnir Gaming Sets July 3 Launch for AIR COMMAND, a Premium 3D Arcade Strike-Shooter for Mobile

Free demo lands June 2 — Star Fox 64-inspired sortie climaxes with a classified trench-run finale

Mjolnir Gaming Studios, the indie gaming division of Tampa-based digital agency Mjolnir Design Studios, today announced AIR COMMAND, a 3D arcade strike-shooter built for mobile and titled the studio's flagship debut. A free demo will be available worldwide on June 2, 2026, with the full release scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026 — the eve of Independence Day weekend — on iOS and Android.

AIR COMMAND puts players in the cockpit of the iconic SR-71 "MJOLNIR" Blackbird and other classified airframes for short, intense five-minute sorties — Star Fox 64-grade rails action with lateral cockpit freedom, a particle-dense topographic world, and a Death Star-style trench-run finale that ends with an encounter against a classified ace-tier boss. Built in Godot 4.6, the game is engineered for the device already in players' pockets.

The flagship campaign — Mission I: First Strike — features sixteen ordnance, defense, and avionics systems classified across seven combat roles, including a dual-mode HELL Fire / HELL Max (High Energy Lethal Laser) directed-energy weapon, the FLUX-G (Futuristic Light Utility X-Gravity) anti-gravity evasive burst engine, A.R.C. (Active Reflective Camo), the GBU-72 "Hellbreaker" bunker buster reserved for the trench-run climax, and a one-per-mission A.C.E. Mode Advanced Cerebral Engagement — that slows world perception to half-speed for four seconds when the impossible shot has to land.

The studio is leaning into the calendar. AIR COMMAND's July 3 launch lands on the eve of Independence Day weekend — a deliberate "download for the long weekend" positioning the studio describes as "patriotic by inheritance, not by flag-waving" — drawing visual heritage from circa-1947 USAF roundel and chevron iconography, circa-1959 U.S. Naval aviation gold trim and stencil regulation, and 2026-era U.S. Space Force delta motifs and orbital cues.

AIR COMMAND is the first title from Mjolnir Gaming Studios, an AI-first indie studio launched in 2026 within the Mjolnir Design Studios ecosystem. The gaming division operates on a 49-agent specialist hierarchy orchestrated by OdinAI, the studio's Claude Opus-powered creative director, with three other titles in development — pARnormal (AR horror, Sept-Oct 2026), Retro Adventure (multi-platform RPG, Christmas 2026), and Shover & Slammer (co-op brawler, Spring 2027). A premium console release of AIR COMMAND on Xbox via the ID@Xbox program in Unreal Engine 5 is targeted for 2027–2028.
